I LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch my kids on Christmas morning. It ranks so high up there on my favorite memories ever. Their excitement is so magical and I just love it! I woke up at 6 and couldn’t go back to sleep because I was so excited to watch them!![]()
Bailey’s early morning smile.
Ah, that’s better.![]()

It was funny…Bailey sat on the couch the whole time the boys opened their presents, not even realizing that she had anymore. I love that she was perfectly content with her Jessie doll and Jessie Pez.

I wasn’t going to make my kids anything, but I’m so happy I did. Bailey loved her bassinet that I made using this tutorial, and the boys loved their sweats that I added the wrestling graphic on using freezer paper.
This is the FIRST Christmas where we didn’t go anywhere all day! Dillon’s parents visited for a bit in the morning after we were able to just spend some time alone for a while, then the rest of the day we just hung out in our pajamas, read books, and played with all the new toys we got! It was such a wonderful day…I think staying home is a new tradition of ours now:). We love you all and hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well!
Christmas Day!
I just hate how fast it comes and goes! I wish it wouldn’t seem that way. I think I will plan a bit better and try and be done with gifts much sooner next year so I can relax a bit more with my kids. It just sneaks up on me every year, and I think because we had Thanksgiving at our house, we were just looking towards that point and not beyond. So here’s hoping next year will seem a little more relaxed! It was still such a wonderful Christmas this year!
