Easter Party

May 7, 2012 By Christie

Sorry about the crumby phone pictures, but we had a great time at Rachelle’s Easter party!  I think the next picture the kids had to run and give Grandma a kiss. IMG376IMG379IMG380IMG382IMG383   I was happy for Bailey because Janina had the kids pull slips out of a basket to tell you how to get the egg across.  Bailey wants to do so many things, but is hindered by her shyness when around a lot of people or people she doesn’t know well (so is Devon, for that matter…Carson?  Not at all).  Well, she got a skipping one and I could tell she really really wanted to try it, but was too nervous.  But then she did it, all alone, in front of all of us.  I was proud of her because I know the feeling of getting so nervous to do something, yet wanting to do it!  IMG384IMG386IMG388 The famous yarn maze!  My boys loved it this year (and I did too because all my kids wanted to do it alone this time…although maybe with Bailey that was a little long, thus the cutting of her yarn inconspicuously so she could be done faster).  IMG389IMG390 Thank you Rachelle and Paul!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
