First Day of First Grade

Sniffle.  I held it together until I got to the van, and just cried and cried on the way home.  Can my kids PLEASE stop growing up??? Carson was really excited to start school this past Tuesday.  At first he said it seemed shorter than kindergarten (all last week they went shorter than a normal school day, and this week they start for real all day).  Now he says it seems long, and tomorrow is his first long day.  That is really a long time to be away from home.  We like his teacher a lot so far (Mrs. Heaton) and I’m excited for this year!  It was so cute because I asked if his teacher was nice, and he said, “She is daaaaaaaang nice.”  Carson is the second tallest in his class.  The girl he sits by beats him by about 2-3 inches!  She’s tall!  He says recess is his favorite part of the day.  Also P.E.    He wanted me to take a picture of his light up shoes Grandma Sheila bought him (thank you!!!).
