For the Primary Program this year, my kids were asked the following.
Carson: asked to tell, in his own words, when Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith.
“Well, this is how it started. Joseph Smith was working on a farm and he went where all the churches were and he didn’t know which one was true. So he decided to go into the woods and pray. And while he was praying, darkness came above him. And then a pillar of light stopped the darkness and he saw two people standing above him. And then one of them said, ‘Behold, this is my beloved Son, please hear Him.’ It was Jesus and Heavenly Father. The End.”
Devon: When I hear or read the testimony of a prophet, I feel….
“happy every time. When I hear President Monson on the TV I feel the gospel that he’s telling the right things.”
