Memorable Moments June 2011

June 30, 2011 By Christie

Bailey keeps telling the boys when they do something they like, "That’s really cute, Carson (or Devon)." We were talking about Dillon’s birthday tomorrow and Bailey said, "Dad’s birfday!? Way to go, Dad!!!" We were listening to a song by Cake first (Bucket Seat) and I told the kids the title of the song. A couple minutes passed and Bailey said, "Cake? Like birfday cake?!" Then we another very non-nursery song and Bailey said, "Oh! This is the song we sing in nursery!" We were watching Harry Potter I for the first time. At one part when Harry gets a letter from Hogwarts, Carson gasped. I thought he was going to be impressed that he was going to Hogwarts, but he said, “Harry can read cursive!?” We talked a lot about ant colonies during Science Camp. One day he came to me and said, “Mom, I think this ant is from another language.” As we were catching ants for our colony, Bailey would keep saying to them, “Come on lil’ guy. It’s ok lil’ guy.” On My Job Chart online, my kids can send me messages. They are so cute, telling me how much they love me. Carson started out with telling me he loves me millions, so I said I love him billions. His next message said: Mom, I love you frillions. Bailey had a pee accident, and after she peed she looked at the ground and said, “Aw, man! I peed.”

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
