We had a whirlwind couple of days. We invited Devon’s favorite cousin Jake to stay with us for the weekend, plus we had just finished cousin camp and family was still around to hang out with. So there will be a couple posts about this weekend. After the poetry contest, we hung out at Deseret Peak for a little while and headed to the Benson Grist Mill. After the Mill, it was back to the Chuck Wagon Dinner for the boys to say their poems, then Sheila got us into Baxter Black. After Baxter Black, Dillon’s band played. Bailey wouldn’t come inside the building to grind wheat. She could see through the floorboards and so she stayed safely outside. Trying the wheat “gum”, which was just wheat that was supposed to have the texture of gum after chewing long enough. Everyone spitting out said wheat. Baxter Black and Kindle Creek.
