We’re having a…

DSC_0042 GIRL!!! DSC_0040 - Copy We are so excited!!!  Bailey gets a sister, and since not once have any of the kids said they hoped for a boy, it was fun to tell them it was what they wanted.  Even though we prepared them plenty for the possibility of having a sweet boy, it was still fun to let them know they all guessed and hoped for the gender we’re having.  We would have been so happy with either—healthy is what we are going for!  (Oh wow, my natural hair color cannot grow fast enough!  Look at those roots!)  DSC_0038DSC_0040 It was fun because the ultrasound tech told us right away, rather than waiting until the end of the ultrasound, so that was nice of him.  My kids are so excited, they already started to write down names.  Carson said, “We need to think of a name!”  So I told them to make a list for us and we’d think about them.  Here’s what they wrote in their beds tonight. Carson’s list DSC_0046 Devon’s list, which he alphabetized: DSC_0044 They both made sure to put Lucy on there because Carson mentioned that name and I told them I’d always really liked that name.  Oh my goodness, they both made Dillon and I laugh hard.  Quite the boys, they are.  The only name Bailey suggested was Lilla.  Goodness I love my kids.  At the ultrasound, they did mention that it appears (to the tech, he didn’t doubt it at all) that I have placenta previa.  He showed us that for quite a bit of the time and the placenta is pretty darn low and blocking most, if not all of the way.  I know from what I’ve read there is a chance that as I grow it can move up so it might not be blocking the cervix, so hopefully that is the case.  I’ve had two c-sections before, so as long as the baby gets here and all is ok, it’s ok with me to have another c-section even when they are no fun.  We were thinking of trying a vbac, but only if we could find out if this baby had what Bailey did when she was born.  So that’s our good news!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
