Wedding Announcements

January 21, 2008 By Christie

The girls and Karl (what a good sport to hang out with us bunch of loud women!) got together to assemble the wedding announcements. It was really fun. And funny. Seriously, those blasted bows were a pain in the you-know-what! But it was the source of much teasing and laughing the whole time, so at least there was that going for the bows. My Grandma was hilarious. She was giving me and Janina a hard time about those bows the whole night. My bows were rejected a couple times by my mom. It’s a bow! How hard could they be??? Well, see for yourself…
Definitely a do-over. And probably over…and over…seriously it took me like 10 tries sometimes to get a good bow. And there were 125 to tie!

Rachelle’s were good.

I think we finally got a good one (Janina and I)
Aren’t the announcements beautiful?

The oh-so-happy bride to be with Grandma.

Aunt Sandy and Rachelle.
Grandma and Janina (Grandma kept teasing Janina about her bows-how my mom should have put her spoon in her right hand because Janina is left-handed. My Grandma is a crack-up!)

Karl (with a sticker on his nose) . He’s a great guy! We’re so happy for them!

That looks like a lot of work! Make sure they keep one for themselves! What a fun family activity.

Those are beautiful announcements! I think you did fabulous on the bows, mine wouldn’t have looked nearly that good. I really should learn, Ameliah’s bows on the back of her dress are never very pretty. ;) Happy snow day.

Wow–I wouldn’t have had the patience, but they look great. It looks like it was a fun time making them, though.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
