Thanksgiving Day Fun!

December 1, 2008 By Christie

We had a great time with Dillon’s family for Thanksgiving. All the even years, it’s the Hurst’s place, and the odd years is the spouses family. They joke about how easy it is to remember because the sister-in-laws are all odd. We ate dinner, then afterwards went bowling. Laurie had suggested doing that since we feel crowded almost anywhere we go these days with so many people now!
Dillon made 6 pies-they were so good too!

Sheila, the star chef!

Oooh, I’m nursin’ my life away…*(sing to the melody of Drivin’ My Life Away)

Bailey with cousin Katie.

First strike!

Where Bailey hung out most of the time bowling.

Amelia is so much fun!

After bowling, everyone came back to our house. We turned on a movie for the kids while we played Imaginiff. Fun times!

I didn’t go shopping this year, Dillon was going to work and with Bailey so little, I didn’t think it’d be too much fun. That night we went back over to hang out with the Hurst fam. Everyone had a fun time boxing on the Wii.

Saturday the men went pheasant hunting so I took my kids and went with Sheila, Amelia, and her kids to see Bolt. Cute movie! We went to get ice cream after. I just LOVE weekends spent having fun with family.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
