Rodeo

June 9, 2012 By Christie

To end off the crazy busy weekend, we headed to the rodeo.  I tried to convince the kids to stay home for a movie night—I was plain exhausted after our busy week!  But the rodeo is where they wanted to go, and since Dillon’s Dad signed up him and his brother for the wild cow…

Pioneer Games

June 9, 2012 By Christie

After swimming, we headed back to the Heritage Days for some fun kid games.  It was fun to spend a little time with some good friends there also.

Swimming

June 9, 2012 By Christie

After Carson’s last soccer game, we headed to Deseret Peak to swim while Jake was with us. Yah yah, there are a lot of Bailey in this post.  The boys were too far out in the pool to take good pictures, and well, I never get tired of seeing that ruffly bum and pink swim…

Benson Grist Mill {Wild Horse and Heritage Days}

June 9, 2012 By Christie

We had a whirlwind couple of days.  We invited Devon’s favorite cousin Jake to stay with us for the weekend, plus we had just finished cousin camp and family was still around to hang out with.  So there will be a couple posts about this weekend. After the poetry contest, we hung out at Deseret…

My cute little poets.

June 8, 2012 By Christie

For the (new!) Wild Horse and Heritage Days, Sheila encouraged Carson and Devon to enter the Poetry Contest (the divisions were larger than what it says on the website because they needed to have more kids in each group to compete, so Devon’s and Carson’s group were all elementary age children).  We weren’t sure we…

A Wolf!

June 6, 2012 By Christie

Carson earned his wolf—actually he earned it about 2 months sooner than June 6th, but they kept having to postpone pack meeting.  He was SUPER DUPER excited to earn it though!  He loves scouts still which is great.  Something fun to look forward to every week is fun for him. What a fun kid he…

Cousin Camp!

June 4, 2012 By Christie

A few months ago my sister-in-law Amelia mentioned doing a Sewing Camp for the cousins in the summer.  So we planned a few days to get together and made it happen a few weeks ago.  We had great fun! At first we were going to call it Sewing Camp, but we did do some other…

Dirty Dash!!!

June 3, 2012 By Christie

On Saturday I went with Andrea and Marrya to Soldier Hollow to run in The Dirty Dash.  So. Much. Fun!  That picture above makes me laugh—I’m so oblivious to the fact that it’s a funny picture, not a just smile at the camera one. Oh well.  Love those girls.  My two boys participated in The…

Soccer Season!

June 3, 2012 By Christie

Now that soccer is over, I thought I’d just share in one post Carson’s fun he had.  He is always goalie the first half and plays various positions the other half.  I must say (brag, ok), that Carson is an awesome goalie.  And we’re finding more and more these days that Devon is really great…

Learning her Style

June 2, 2012 By Christie

So Bailey has always been a tough little girl and loved boy things because of her brothers.  But she has also always loved to wear skirts and dresses. I can’t really remember the last time she wore pants, but she does wear leggings under skirts or shorts if she really likes them.  Lately, she’s been…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
