Bailey Talking

March 13, 2009 By Christie

This is how Bailey talks. Sometimes she’ll go on like this, completely serious, for 10 minutes or longer. It cracks me up how she totally knows she’s saying something important. Do you ever wonder if it’s like when animals talk in movies, and they think they’re talking, but you see that all anyone else hears…

Draper Temple Open House

March 12, 2009 By Christie

We were lucky enough to go twice to the Draper Temple Open House. The first time, Dillon and I dropped our kids off at my sisters’ houses, and went with Dillon’s family for Jerry’s birthday. It was a great time all together, and kind of nice to be able to see it all without worrying…

Once a Week

March 10, 2009 By Christie

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but really, I can’t get enough of date night. Since a couple weeks before Christmas, Dillon and I have gone on a date once a week. I seriously do not know why we were not doing this all along. Each week when it gets towards the weekend, I cannot…

I Love Dillon Because…

March 9, 2009 By Christie

The picture pretty much explains it all. Even the rolos were gone by the time I took the picture–that’s how bad I needed chocolate:). I called him complaining of the hard day it was. Bailey was cranky all day, wouldn’t sleep. Devon had gotten shots and so he was laying around all day whining that…

Thank you cards from my boys.

March 9, 2009 By Christie

In primary today, the kids’ teachers helped them fill in the blanks of these cute little thank you cards. I loved them! Carson’s: I especially appreciate the way you…treat me right.I love it when you cook…it makes me happy. Thanks for teaching me…to obey the commandments. You’re the best because…you are special. Devon’s: I especially appreciate the…

Let’s Go Fly a Kite

March 8, 2009 By Christie

Not the best picture of us, but it was a special time with Carson just having fun in the wind running around, and I wanted to remember it. We don’t get much time just us two these days. Well, I suppose that’s very true for all of my kids though. This picture was supposed to…

I Love Dillon Because…

March 6, 2009 By Christie

He shows the kids that he loves them by what he does. Carson and Devon went upstairs to play. Dillon had already said goodbye to them. Carson came down, looked around, and said, “Dad? Where are you?” I said, “He’s outside getting in his truck.” Carson said, “Ohhhh, I wanted to give him a hug…

Happy Birthday Devon!!!

March 4, 2009 By Christie

Devon turned 4 today! I can’t believe it, really, he doesn’t seem that old to me. But 4 he is! He woke up to see his door decorated, ran into my room, and said, “It’s my birthday mom! I’m so glad I made it!” Me too Dev! When Dillon called him on the phone to…

Peas versus Carrots

February 20, 2009 By Christie

We’ve actually been successful with rice cereal finally, so we’ll stick with that until she is 6 months old probably (cheaper, easier, stain-free). But before she’d do rice, we tried a couple others. PEAS CARROTS

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
