Decorating the Christmas Tree!

I love putting up a tree, and next year we hope to start a tradition like my family used to do and go pick out a real tree together, or even better go hike a mountain and chop it down ourselves! It’s just too easy to use this artificial one when it’s FREE:). I’d like to put an artificial (pre-lit) one in the living room that just looks really nice and then the one we pick out or chop down for the family tree, to put special ornaments on. We have a couple fun ornaments, and I will definitely be working on getting some that have more sentimental value, but we do have a lot my mom and I made, one from our Yellowstone trip this year, and 2 from our first Christmas. We’ll be better at remembering how fun it is to have some meaning to them (wish I’d thought of it sooner like you, Erin!). Dillon has to pull faces in half our pictures of him! At least!!! Funny man!
