I really do, I know that sounds cheesy for Christmas time but WOW! My mom was in an awful car accident this morning. And left the scene with a few bumps and bruises (that we know of so far. She seems to be doing fine besides achy with a headache). I am truly thankful for Heavenly Father watching out for her, as are all of us. Just wanted to share as I think about how awful this could have turned out. Here is the story on ksl:
Driver Crashes Into Restaurant
Here is the story from Salt Lake Tribune.
In my mom’s defense, she is THE MOST cautious driver I have ever known. She just simply didn’t see the truck at all, even after looking over her shoulder.
Pretty amazing that she walked away huh! I hate how the whole article is on the poor business that got crashed into wah wah wah. I am glad no one was in the building and they were closed, but they could have mentioned they were thankful that the woman (my mom) was okay as well. My poor mom. She’s being a trooper though. Mom and Karl said they wished they had a camera when her car was actually in the building.
This reminds me a little of my little brother Eric getting hit by a car last year on his birthday!
FUNNY PICTURE CAPTION: Under this picture, it said, “A Salt Lake City police officer talks with two people about the damage caused when a car slammed into the Ginza restaurant Monday.” Um…that’s my mom and Karl. My mom’s probably glad it doesn’t say that under the picture though for all to see!

Wow! I’m glad your mom is okay–I watched the news report online on KSL and I agree with you–I can’t believe they didn’t say anything about the condition of the people in the accident!
The Allen Family says
Yikes. I’m glad she’s okay. How scary.

We sure are glad that your mom is OK. That is a scary thing to happen…and yes I believe in miricles also!!
