Introducing…

September 15, 2008 By Christie

South Willow Canyon (I’m wicked to tease like that, I know). That’s all. No baby. Still here. She’s still kicking and enjoying her easy life. I guess I should be enjoying my easy life as well. I told Dillon I’m really in no hurry to be recovering from a birth, being tired, having my entire life changed and not being able to do things I’d like to as much, but I really am very excited to see this little one and hold her. I’m just…ready! I’m ready for the change. I’ve been preparing for 9 months, the boys are stoked, the house is clean, my bags are packed, and I know a few days won’t make a big difference in the long run, but yep, I’m ready.

So today we tried to get things going by taking a really bumpy ride up South Willow, then we got up and hiked a while up the hill. I even jogged and sprinted a bit, but seriously, out of the whole drive and hiking, I probably got 5 wimpy contractions. I had worse contractions Thursday night sleeping than running up a hill. I did have flip-flops on, but that didn’t stop me. The boys kept yelling at me to wait for them.

So I didn’t have a baby from the days’ events, but we did get some fun pictures and some great family time together.

*On a side note, notice how long my second toe is compared to my first? There is a movie that I don’t recall the title to, but Jason Alexander just can’t date this woman because of her freakishly long second toe. Did anyone else see that movie? That part made me laugh. Feet are just not cute unless they belong to kids and younger.

The movie is Shallow Hal! And you might be the smallest pregnant lady I have ever seen! Good Luck to you in the next couple of days!

you are funny. I was so excited to see her, and with the introducing headline I was like hurray. It is fun to see your weekends adventures also. I agree you are the cutest and smallest pregnant women ever. Good luck

Okay, you really are evil. I just say the title in Google Reader and yelled “Yea! Finally!” Meanie. ;) It’s funny that they really will just come when they’re ready. I couldn’t get Peyton to come by mowing the lawn or jumping on the tramp like 2 days before he was due.

We love that canyon. It has a few fun rapells, too.

Wonderwoman! RUNNING?!?! My kids told me I shouldn’t run when I’m pregnant because I jiggle too much.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
