Chocolate Tradition!

December 18, 2008 By Christie

Our tradition of looking at Christmas lights just got better–it now involves chocolate, but what a great thing to add to any tradition, I say:). We stopped at a gas station and I loaded us up with hot chocolate and some chocolate donuts. Next year I’ll plan better and just make some at home to bring and buy some donuts at Walmart earlier that day to save some money. But YUM anyways! We drove around and looked at Christmas lights while listening to some good Christmas music and singing along. What a fun time! We don’t have as good as lights here as you’ll find in Salt Lake, but it worked for us!
The winners are:
It’s been so cold, I don’t know if we’ll make it to Temple Square this year! Sadness! I just hate being freezing cold, and don’t really want Bailey to be so cold either! The boys don’t seem to mind so much.

What a fun tradition! You have been so good at doing so many fun things with your kids this year. We look at lights a lot too, it is a great idea to add good food!

What a fun tradition! We do donuts and hot chocolate during the first snow of a new winter. Traditions are so much fun, especially now that we have our own kids.

It looks like you guys had a fun time! And I agree, adding chocolate to anything makes it even better!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
