Bailey loves to throw garbage away, along with books, spoons, stuffed animals, and ornaments.
Bailey could hear Dillon through the vent in our kitchen while he was downstairs playing his guitar and singing. She walked over there and opened the cupboard, and peeked her head inside and said, “Mah?” (she still calls him Mah. It’s so funny, because the boys called me Dah-dah forever)
The entire time Bailey and I were in the store, she kept pointing to everything, look at me, smile, and say, “Mmmm!”
Tonight I took the kids driving around looking at Christmas lights. They loved it. Bailey even got into it, and would gasp every time we’d see a house with Christmas lights. It was so super cute!
Carson and Devon got to watch a little of Pirates of the Caribbean while we were in Real Dealz. We got out to the van and Carson said, “We got to watch Pirates of the Carousel!”
Carson asked what the most dangerous animal in the ocean is. Dillon and I guessed the Great White Shark. Carson said, “Well, I think the most horrifying would be the Giant Squig.” (instead of squid)
Carson started wrestling and when Dillon left to take him, Devon asked me, “So is he really going to kill someone in wrestling?” Carson asked him to take care of his stuffed animal puppy while he was gone. He said, “Feed him twice a night.”
This morning Dev broke something of Carson’s. Later that day, Dillon heard them have the following conversation: Devon: I’m sorry I broke your stencil. Carson: That’s ok. Devon: So…does that mean you forgive me? Carson: Of course! Sweet boys. I love when they get along like that. It’s the best.
Carson wrote two different notes to Grandma and Grandpa Hurst. The first one asked how Jerry’s back was doing and how he was feeling. He ended the letter: “Mom was kissing Santa Claus.” Today he wrote another one to Sheila, asking how Grandpa was, then ended with, “Tell Grandpa to take medicine.” He’s a funny kid.
Devon said, “What the heck!” the other day. Carson said, “Mom, oh no. Devon just took the Lord’s name in vain.”

Oh those stories are so cute! I just LOVE the way kids think. They really put perspective on the important things in life.
