-Carson has another loose tooth, and it’s really bothering him. He asked me this morning, “Mom? Why does the tooth fairy NEED so many teeth?”
-Carson was so sweet to his friend. His friend got in trouble at school. On the way home, Carson said, “It’s ok Seth. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes.” Then he shared his extra Fun Dip with him to cheer him up. I love that about him! When he can see that someone is really upset, that’s when Carson surprises me and shows a lot of compassion.
-Carson and Devon were making Valentine’s Day cards today, one each. Carson made one for his friend Audrey (who he has a crush on and has for a while). I asked why he chose her just to see what he’d say and he said, “Because she dresses nice. And because she plays a lot with me.” I asked if he thought she was cute and he grinned shyly and said, “yes.” So then he went up to Devon making his card. He asked who it was for, and Devon said, “Emmie.” Carson said, “Oh, she’s a fun girl.” Devon said, “AND pretty.”
-We are having a sleepover with my brother Ryan’s son, Jake. He’s a fun boy who is Devon’s age. We were driving home, and as soon as we turned on our street (Jake was in the van with us), Devon said, “Welcome to Our World!” The “our world” part was said VERY importantly:).
-Devon just came down with his batman pj’s that have a velcro-attached type of cape. I told him to go brush his teeth, so he ran away fast with sound effects (swoosh). He looked back and smiled, knowing he was totally cool, and said, “Was my cape flying?”
-Today we had the Stump cousins over, which was fun. Emily was making a pendant of her own. Carson saw and got really excited since he’s seen me make some. He said, “I really like how that is turning out, Emily!”
-Bailey’s 15 month stats: Height 31.5″, 80%; Weight 23 lbs. 11 oz, 65%; Head circumference 18″, 60%.
-Bailey loves to tickle herself. She’ll tickle her toes or belly, smile, and say, “Dickle dickle!” She also loves to scare us and say BOO! as loud as she can. She loved loved LOVED the snowflakes the boys and I made and hung up yesterday from our kitchen ceiling. She talked about those snowflakes and pointed to them all day. I made her a mini one and hung it from some fishing line and she carried it around for about an hour talking all about it. I love how much she’s trying to say lately!
-My boys went to the dentist yesterday and again, no cavities! Yahoo! They came home, took out some paper, and made a sign that said, “Brush your teeth or else you’ll get cavities.”
-Bailey loves to say, “oh oh oh” for “ho ho ho” (it’s still Christmas for her). So cute!

I want to know what you told Carson when he asked that question about the Tooth Fairy.

Those are all so cute! You're so good to remember to write these things down, I never remember. Ugh.
