Devon loved the hammocks that Dillon and Damon brought.
As did all the kids. Here’s Kael.
And Seth.
Bailey with future spouse Jonas. Just kidding, but really, how cool would that be?!
I spy 4 cute kids—can you see them all?
Damon and Sabra.
They made us a yummy dutch oven dinner that we stuffed ourselves on. There was some left for the squirrels.
Check out Bailey’s forehead. I’m not sure, but I think it was the marshmallow stick after being in the dirt, that did that.

The boys all get along really great.
It was cold and guess who’s two little backpacks were sitting at home, all nice and packed but their mom forgot to bring it? You guessed it. Sabra totally forgot her kids’ clothes so they froze. And it was sad.
JUST KIDDING. But it really happened, only I was the one who forgot to grab the packed bags with all the boys’ stuff in them. Sabra would never do that. I would, apparently. Luckily she had some extra jackets for her boys and Dillon and I gave up our jammie bottoms for them to wear. And it was cold! The boys had to go in the camper (not ours) to stay warm while we sat around the fire.
The next morning, Devon kept saying he was SO TIRED. So he slept all morning, which kind of limited us to what we could do. That night we took him to the doctor and he had strep. Again. And they said he should probably have his tonsils removed since he gets it about every 3 months.
Bailey and Dad hanging in the hammock. Bailey wears everyone’s shoes but her own. She won’t keep hers on!
These next two pics make me laugh. I don’t know what she was getting out of her toes. Her feet were actually pretty clean at this point.
Poor Bailey. Her mean momma wanted to hold her for a picture together. She wasn’t happy. What a Daddy’s Girl she is!
What’s that noise?
A cute little chipmunk coming to say hello to Bailey.
We took a hike to see the beaver dam that was close by. The valley was so green and beautiful!
We love this family! They are so much fun to be around. We definitely want to go again this summer! For longer, like you said:).
On the way home we had to stop at Cabela’s, which was really fun. The shooting range, the fish, and all the animals were awesome. We fed the fish and the kids loved that. Seriously such a fun, free thing to do with the fam! We went to Iceburg after that, shared a couple shakes, and went home. I love spending time with my family!
YAY us! :)
and the toe pictures with Bailey are helarious.
Fun! I LOVE camping. It makes me sad that the summer time seems to get so busy that we never seem to get to go as often as we would like. We also have discovered those huge marshmallows. They are so great!
How FUN! Camping is always better with awesome people to go with!
P.S. I always notice Bailey's clean toes…now I know WHY they're so clean!
Seriously, those marshmellows are HUGE!! Gotta get me some when we go camping!
