Carson and Devon were wrestling with Dillon. They were saying he was mad, and he said, “Is anyone bleeding?” They said no. He said, “That’s how you know if I’m mad–if anyone is bleeding, then I’m mad.” (just a silly thing he always says). Well, Bailey was watching them and said, “I don’t want to bleed! I’m too little!” Dillon was talking to us about all the different kinds of disgusting food that people eat. One of the times, he said something about sheep’s stomach (which he had to eat in England). Bailey and Carson were doing the expected, “Ew! Gross!” and Devon said, “Actually, that could be really good!” Way to look on the bright side, little guy. Bailey was trying to get on our bed and stepped on her heart pillow from Grandma. She said, “Oh, sorry pillow….don’t cry.” Devon was teasing Bailey and she was getting mad at him. So he said, “It’s ok, Bailey. I’m a friend.” over and over. She finally said, “No Devon. You not a friend…..(long pause)…you a old man.” We were listening to the “I See the Light” from the Tangled soundtrack. Bailey recognized it and loved it. When the guy started singing, she said, “Oh! That’s the daddy tangled!” The boys always ask if they can have CANDY, but they spell it out every time. They spell it so Bailey doesn’t know what they are wanting so she doesn’t spoil her lunch. The other day Bailey got done with her lunch and said, “Can I have my c.n.d.y?” 3 days ago, I get Bailey up. After breakfast, she’s hopping around and says, “Yea! It’s Christmas time!” I laughed and said, “It’s not Christmas, silly!” She insisted that it most certainly IS Christmas time. 2 days ago she wakes up and I change her diaper. She says, “It’s Christmas day.” Very too the point. We eat breakfast and she’s playing with Dillon and asks him where Santa is. Funny girl! We have a sitter named Abby. Her mom stopped us and said, “I just have to tell you. Abby got home from babysitting your kids and told us how much she loves to watch them because they treat her so respectfully, as in opening the door for her or saying, ‘ladies first’. Abby said they make her feel good when she’s watching them.” YEA boys! When Bailey is pulling on her dry lips and we see her, she’ll inform us, “I’m taking my lips off.” The boys are always talking about their powers. Today Bailey looked out the window and said, “The snow is giving me powers, mom.” Bailey is big into pretending these days. She’ll hand me things like spiders and snakes and say, “It’s ok. He’s my friend! He’s nice.” Today she handed me something and whispered, “It’s a chihuahua.” I went into Bailey’s room where she was holding her cheetah (nicknames Chee by her) and her piggie. She said, “look mom! Chee is getting a piggy back ride!” and put her cheetah onto the pig’s back.
