(I’m not finished posting about Hawaii, but Karl is busy and has a bunch of pics I took on his camera for the day I’m waiting to post, so you aren’t getting out of it, it’s just postponed!) No tears for Santa this year! Carson wants Hagrid’s Hut legos. This smile is what his answer was when asked, “You don’t fight with your brother and sister, do you?” Devon was pretty shy as always, but asked for his bike he wants. (I’m so excited for him to get this because it has a lot of red on it, which is his favorite color—even the rims! Yay $40.00 black Friday bike online!!!) And oh my goodness, Bailey was so cute. She’s getting a kitchen from Santa, but she asked him for 5 pretty dresses that make wand noises—as in looked him right in the eye nearly the whole time and talked to him and wasn’t that shy at all. It was super cute, and so brave of her this year! First year with no tears since we’ve started having kids, I think! Then the rest of the day she talked about how nice Santa was. Hot chocolate is one of the best inventions ever. So are gingerbread marshmallows to go in it. And peppermint. Those smart people who came up with these things. Devon’s notes to his teachers from school and church both said this: This is Carson spelling Feliz Navidad. This is the cute apron Bailey is getting from me. Here are some fun fabric trays I made for the boys for Christmas and bought a lego base to fit inside. One of my favorite things to do is take the kids shopping for each other. Normally they buy for each sibling, but I thought it would save a few bucks just buying for one kid so they drew names like I used to as a kid, and they were thankfully just as excited this year, if not more so. They had a $6.00-$8.00 budget, using the money they had saved for the last month to go towards it. I discovered that Dev’s cute big front teeth make me think of Cindy Lou Who from the Grinch. So cute. It’s hard to wrap a ball! Bailey was determined to wrap her presents with minimal help. That means 4 times the amount of tape is used, but that also means more smiles on her part :). Carson’s got it down pretty well this year. Making sure Devon isn’t peeking! Oh I love Christmas so much! Especially once school is out! Lots more fun. Today we have a lot of fun things on our list to do and I’m excited!

Cute kids! I need to get back into that tradition of having our kids draw names for Christmas.
