Learning her Style

June 2, 2012 By Christie

So Bailey has always been a tough little girl and loved boy things because of her brothers.  But she has also always loved to wear skirts and dresses. I can’t really remember the last time she wore pants, but she does wear leggings under skirts or shorts if she really likes them.  Lately, she’s been accessorizing like crazy and it’s so funny to see her combinations. You’ve seen the mismatched shoes and socks, the crazy clothes she combines, the haircuts she gives herself, etc.  Now she’s doing her hair. DSC_0862-001DSC_0865DSC_0866 So funny!  But one great thing coming from this is that she actually wants me and lets me do her hair…something we’ve struggled with until this point. On a side note, one of the things I’m noticing about her is that she gets over things really fast.  Rather than bawling over her popped balloon, she said how cool it looked.  Rather than being sad we couldn’t go to a Strawberry Shortcake Party (whom she loves), she said, “That’s ok.” and got over it.  I love that type of personality and it’s been fun noticing it more and more in her.

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
