Our last day we spent between the two parks. Finally got to meet Mickey! Carson was lucky and got chosen for the Star Wars Jedi Training show. We let the kids decide on one souvenir for the trip, using some of their own money towards it. The boys chose to make their own light sabers. And as tempting and the princess paraphernalia was, Bailey really only had eyes for Chewbacca. We got to the next show early in hopes that Devon would get chosen and Bailey too…Devon did but Bailey was going to pee her pants so wasn’t there to get chosen. Dev was a bit nervous! I think I would be too. They both did great. It was so cute. The show is actually pretty funny. We ran into parades every day that made it impossible to go where we wanted, so we just enjoyed. The kids all waved to all the characters. Bailey trying to get a peek at the princesses. And THE best ride? The new Cars ride. It was super fun. We loved it. All of us except for Bailey, who screamed in terror as soon as we started racing the other car. We were lucky to get fast passes for this ride and bypassed the 2 hour wait. Much more her comfort zone. And that was our trip! We had so much fun. It might have been easier with another family who had been before, as we were pretty clueless on a few things, but it turned out great! And the kids were so super good for the long drive there and back. I think I had a harder time with it than they did! Yay for family vacations!!!
