Disneyland: The Trek Down

We surprised the kids with a vacation to California! I’d been wanting to take them to Disneyland for ages, and we found a great deal through a guy in Bountiful, thanks to my cousin! I bid on a super cheap hotel, but it was walking distance to Disneyland, and we just had a great time. So prepare for a lot of pictures! Happily and also a bit funny on the timing, I was 6 weeks pregnant the day we left, which is just about the time I get really sick. And I was really sick the whole time. But we still managed to have a great time. :) And I wouldn’t trade being sick and pregnant anyday over the last two years of wanting to be pregnant! So as I said, the kids had no clue. In fact, they got up and got ready for school the day we left. Then we told them we were leaving on a fun vacation, but we didn’t tell them where we were going until about two hours away. It was SO funny to hear their guesses! New York! Hawaii! St. George! Las Vegas! They had some great guesses. And then when we passed Las Vegas and the New York little are was there, Carson yelled, “I knew it! New York!” So funny:). I made them a little puzzle to put together when we stopped somewhere, which happened to be at Burger King.

Oh, and really fast, here are some simple autograph books I made for them. My sister-in-law had told me how much her kids enjoyed getting autographs. And my kids totally did. Carson even asked, “So that’s why we came here? To get everyone’s autographs?”
