We spent the whole first day in California Adventure. It wasn’t very busy so that was great. Disneyland was much much much more busy! Please appreciate Dev’s abnormal elbow bend in the picture below. That’s the cool stuff that happens when you break your elbow, I guess. The thing about being morning sick (or all-day sick) means that you try to avoid any rides that might make it worse. So anything that spun and twirled and all that jazz, which is most of them, I either went on and regretted or just took pics from afar. The boys all went on some wet ride Bailey was too short for, so we stood in line for Bailey’s first autograph. She didn’t really think it was too exciting I guess. Actually, she was just super nervous. I should have really taken some pictures, but we met up with my cousin Merilee and her hubby Josh, and their two girls to watch Aladdin. It was cool that we happened to be there the same time! Carson is actually quite terrified of heights. He seriously almost ran away from us while waiting in line for the ferris wheel, poor kid. But he did alright once we were on. Bailey doesn’t look alright in the picture above though! Bailey zonked on our way to Goofy’s Kitchen. It’s expensive, but the food was good and the kids really really loved meeting the characters and interacting with them more. Minnie Mouse loved loved Bailey. Every time she passed she’d tap her on the shoulder and make motions about their dresses matching. Too bad Bailey wasn’t wearing the Minnie Mouse dress I made her on that day. Carson and Devon really loved how funny a lot of the characters were. Bailey couldn’t keep her eyes off of Cinderella! And that was our first day in CA!
