It’s my Birthday and I’m going to….rake a million leaves for hours.

December 2, 2012 By Christie

It was supposed to snow soon, so I spent a good portion of my birthday (much to Dillon’s dismay when he got home from working that day) raking leaves.  I really really dislike raking so many leaves—mostly because we don’t own ONE tree!  I love trees and everything, but the poplars we had when moving in needed to go, and the two I planted after moving in died.  But my goodness, the wind in the fall is horrible at blowing tons of leaves into our yard.  After raking all these leaves (I think it was at least 8 big black garbage bags full) I was sure to ask Dillon to please do the rest that blew in the front yard the very next day, and the backyard.  And he did….while it was snowing and it’s a good thing too because it dumped on us!  The kids were pretty good helpers for me, though, because they got to have some fun in between stuffing leaves in the bags with me. Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
