-Devon constantly says all day long about Ruby: I just love her so much! -Bailey calls Ruby: Ruby Ruby Rube -Carson wrote a poem about her (I’ll copy it and make a post) -so clearly, these kids are completely loving this little Ruby Jane. -I just feel strengthened through others prayers! I feel peace, love, support, and happiness. I’m so thankful to be surrounded by so much love. -On the day people fasted for us, it was a much better day than the few before. I’m healing quicker this time around. The kids have been taken care of so well and are having fun. Dillon seems to just know when to help or be with me. I’ve just been able to love Ruby and enjoy time with her. So blessed. -On June 26th I wrote down this to remember what was going on: Billi blanket, 18.7 count. Not gaining. Belly button oozing. Cauterized it but didn’t work. Three weeks old today and by end of day, 12 visits to doctors and hospitals. Crazy crazy. -But also on that day I wrote this: Probably written 30 thank yous! We’ve been so spoiled! -and here were some thoughts I emailed myself from my phone on the day she was born in the hospital: Ruby Jane, born today at 7:58 am, weighs 6lb, 4oz, 19.5″ long. Brown hair and so stinking cute. Completely in love! I could look at her all day. Feeling incredibly blessed she’s here. C section went well, sore but not bad unless I have to get up. Yikes! Ruby having hard time eating so hopefully get better soon! She’s a beautiful healthy baby! Made me cry first hearing her cry. It’s really amazing! Kids came and just fell in love with her too. Such amazement and wonder. Just a great day all around. The title of the post was “Perfect perfect!”
