Double Digit Devon!

March 3, 2015 By Christie

Devon is 10!  I can’t believe it. Seriously. Where is the time going?  I spent some time watching some videos of when Devon was 4 and it just made me cry! What a sweetie this kid is. Always has been. He has such a sweet, tender heart. I love him!

I’ve been taking my kids out to lunch, just checking them out of school for like an hour. It’s become one of my favorite traditions!

I’ve got mad cake decorating skills ;). Don’t be jealous.  That U and I on the end of Booshk is supposed to make another Y…to spell Booshky :).

And he chose to go ice skating. Ended up being so fun for the kids. I’d been just a couple weeks before with the youth in my ward. They loved it! And they were so good! Especially Bailey–she was so fast and good! They all shed a few tears after some harsh falls but they had fun :).

This boy.  So he’s the sweetest as I’ve said. He is the BEST brother, has such a sweet testimony and really wants to do what is right. He is the one who always makes sure we say prayers and read scriptures together as a family. He loves his family. He loves his friends. He’s obsessed with Ruby these days. He LOVES pokemon cards and trading them (as of the last month) and he’s just awesome. Happy 10th Birthday Devon!!! We love you so much!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
