Update on Ruby’s Heart

April 23, 2015 By Christie

Last week I mentioned how Ruby had complained a few times about her heart hurting her, and how I called the on-call cardiologist at Primary’s Saturday and she had wanted Ruby to be seen this week and get an EKG done. I got in to see the pediatrician on Monday this week (it’s Wednesday now)….

Ruby

April 20, 2015 By Christie

Ruby is doing all sorts of things these days that just crack us up. I love this age so much! She started to do the thumbs up sign recently, when she likes something she’s eating or drinking. It’s adorable. We were watching a bit of baby signing time and she loved it–it has helped her…

Ruby’s ♥ : The Condensed, All in One Post

March 26, 2015 By Christie

This is posted on Love From Ruby, but I wanted to post this here as well. All info you can find on my older posts but I like this condensed version as well :). Ruby was born on June 5th, 2013.  6 pounds and 4 ounces + 19″ of cuteness. My husband (Dillon) and I were so…

One Year Surgery Anniversary!!!

December 18, 2014 By Christie

Today marks one year since Ruby’s open heart surgery.  One year!  How fast that flew by! For the record, Intermountain Healing Hearts is an amazing support group on facebook, but not just there. They do so much good!  HERE’s a link to them.  But the facebook group is a big part of it.  And I…

Adult Problems that can Develop with Tetralogy of Fallot

September 29, 2014 By Christie

So Ruby is doing awesome.  It’s obvious in her energy and her spunk ;).  She’s fiesty and full of life.  And we couldn’t be happier and we acknowledge God’s hand in her recovery and how well she is doing now. One thing that is unfortunately always lurking in the background is that just because she…

Ruby’s follow-up appointment

September 28, 2014 By Christie

We don’t have to go back for another 8 or 9 months!  That is a good thing :).  He said we will shoot for that long unless we have any cause for concern.  Here’s what they said this time : -We asked why she turned blue quite a bit while we were camping.  He said…

Three Months Old

September 8, 2013 By Christie

Months go by fast, eh?  (And lighting is not always the same for pictures, unfortunately!) Such a beautiful bright-eyed girl!  Busy busy times with these cute kiddos.  I wouldn’t trade it for anything, though.  Not even sewing ;).

Little Sweetie Pie

September 3, 2013 By Christie

Is this not the saddest little face you ever did see? Soooo sad, yet so adorable! The kids tied their little light sabers to her carseat and she was loving them! The kids all thought it was the greatest thing how she reacted. :)

Tanners Flat 2013

August 31, 2013 By Christie

Would you just look at that sweet face! She’s sooooo adorable!  Grandma and Grandpa loving on Ruby. So sweet.  The inseparable cousins.  Camping was great, as always. It’s hard with a new baby but she did well. It was a bit COLD and REALLY WET! We got dumped on. Ruby and I ended up sleeping…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
