Star Wars Birthday Party: Part One

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Devon is majorly obsessed with Star Wars these days so that was the theme he chose for his party this year.  At first I wasn’t very excited, but man alive, there are a million ideas online for a Star Wars themed party!  We had SO MUCH FUN!  So many sources had the same ideas, so…

A morning with Bailey.

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Bailey really only plays with her kitchen if someone is in there to play it with her.  She makes a mean pizza in the soup pot.  I asked her to make me pizza and she said, “What kind?  The pretend kind or the fake kind?” Once again she was very proud of her outfit she…

Pilates

March 12, 2012 By Christie

I started a video and Devon and Bailey wanted to do it with me.  I finished it and Devon asked me to play it again.  Oh, they were so funny to watch! Bailey decided to add picking her nose as one of the exercises.  ;) Sorry there are so many—they really tried for a long…

Jacobsen Event

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Us wives of our hubbies were spoiled (ha ha, for once!) for a band gig they did for Bryce’s work.  There were a ton of people there at the Grand America and a wonderful lunch was served.  Thanks Rachelle for watching Bailey!

Breakfast

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Bailey said she didn’t want breakfast, so I went upstairs to get ready.  I came down to this: and that was what she leaves behind.  Hmmm, I don’t think I’m a very good example!

Hanging out with Bailey

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Having just one child at home was a bit of an adjustment for both Bailey and I, but I have loved being able to spend more one-on-one time with her.  It is easy most days, but she gets bored without her brothers.  It isn’t by our choice that we haven’t added another little one to…

Helping at Alt

March 12, 2012 By Christie

I forgot to post this fun experience I got to have in January!  It was so so fun to meet some bloggers that I’ve become friends with through blogging.  I think the crafting world of blogging is so kind and I have made some life-long friends!  I was thrilled when Dana let me come and…

Yay! 100 books!

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Devon turned 7 (it rhymes!) on the 3rd, but I’m waiting to take some pictures of him before I do his official birthday post. Devon has done such a great job reading this year.  He is very patient with himself and is very careful also.  He was very excited to be the first to read…

What Bailey wore to the store and got lots of compliments on.

March 12, 2012 By Christie

Ok, so just a difference I’ve noticed.  My boys were (and are) sure cute, but can I just say that this little girl gets people telling her everywhere we go, all the time, how cute she is—I’m guessing it’s just because she is a girl?  She does spin and twirl and push her baby in…

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
