Timpanogos Cave

August 23, 2007 By Christie

Carson and Devon have been wanting to go to a cave for a really long time. Oh my goodness! What a workout! I couldn’t remember how hard the trail was, and it really wasn’t that bad, unless you take two little boys. Dillon carried Devon most of the time, I did for very very short periods, but man, Carson was sure a trooper! He hiked that whole 1 1/2 miles up, every single step, all by himself, and back down, in faster than the time they said we could do it in even! It was so much fun though. The cave is really neat. Carson was very talkative to the group, like when it’d get dark, he’d say, “Don’t worry everybody! I’ve got my flashlight!” and when the guide would say, “Are you all ready to go?”, he’d say loudly, “Yep! Let’s do it everyone!” Needless to say, the boys were the only kids and very much the center of attention. Devon got so tired on the hike down he actually fell asleep. I saw a few people’s kids asleep on our way up, thinking no way that would happen, but it did!

I can’t believe I lived in Orem for four years and never visited the cave! I’m jealous! And what a fun experience for your boys too. You all look so great. I miss you!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
