What a great time to go to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. The boys picked this for their fun thing after they earned it this month, and although it was an insane drive there, an hour, and $14.00 for just the 3 of us to get in, the boys loved it. I decided once a year will have to do. It would really be worth it if we lived closer. But it was actually really cool because they had it all decked out in Halloween decorations (notice the skeleton riding the T-Rex). Halloween is my second favorite (to Christmas) holiday, so I loved it. However, the boys were a little freaked out. I’m not gonna lie, they really are quite brave little boys, so I was surprised at how scared they were. I didn’t even take pictures of the scariest parts because I was trying to push the stroller with one hand while pulling them away from the “munters” (Devon’s word for monsters)–pulling away because they wouldn’t come out from hiding behind the stroller. Mostly it was because of the dinosaur sounds they had on the little pathways to look at their dinosaurs outside. Those dinosaur sounds made great Halloween sounds, so very spooky when you walk under a skeleton in a HUGE spiderweb if you are 2 and 4:). Devon refused to get his picture taken next to a scary dinosaur, so I thought the fall leaves looked pretty and he didn’t mind that:).
