I don’t know if you have ever driven out by the Salt Flats, but really there isn’t much as far as scenic overlooking goes. The part that was fun was reading people’s messages they wrote with rocks on the sand. So I told Dillon we better leave our mark as well, so we made a big 6 for 6 years (and got a couple of honks as people drove by, like from the semi-trucks), by mile marker 36. Dillon said I better put that on our blog so we’d remember if we go back and can change the 6 to other numbers on our anniversary. The pictures make it look like we’re kickin’ it on some cool beach (only, if we were on the beach my legs wouldn’t be so white!).
10 Things I love about Dillon:
-He loves me so much, I just can’t believe it. I am so lucky.
-He is such a hard worker and does it completely willingly to provide well for our family.
-He is the best dad around. He is so patient with the boys (and me).
-He is rarely critical of me, and when he is, he does it in such a way that really makes me want to be a better person.
-He is one of the least non-judgmental people I know.
-He has a very strong testimony and is very patient in my learning process:).
-He hardly ever complains.
-He might think contrary, but I love his sense of humor.
-I am happy around him. No matter how ornery I can get, he can ALWAYS make me smile.
-He puts me above anything else, besides the Lord. He loves spending time with me and I love spending time with him. He always says he’s just happy doing anything when we are together.
It was great, but WAY too short. I missed my kids but really, two nights would have been perfect! Next year perhaps! I’m so thankful for temples and the priesthood and the gospel so that I can be sealed to my sweet hubby forever. Okay, I’m done being so sappy:).

What a great anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been 6 years!! Your wedding seems like it was yesterday (the same day as the BYU v. Utah game, mind you, which I left to attend your reception!) Congrats!
