My friend had posted 10 things she loves about her life, and I thought that would be fabulous! So here goes:
1. Of course, I have to say my sweet hubby. He really is the best thing that has ever happened to me!
2. Being able to stay at home with my kids. I seriously woke up the other morning so full of gratitude for not having to take them to someone else for the whole day. What a HUMONGOUS blessing:)!
3. Having all of our needs met, all the time.
4. Having a wonderful family in which I look up to everyone–immediate and extended!
5. Having a great ward to live in with a great primary class.
6. Great friends! I love you all!
7. Being able to pursue my interests and hobbies–free time occasionally!
8. A hubby who encourages me to hang out with friends and family–he is always up for me going on a girl’s night out for me:).
9. Crafts and cooking. I love them both!
10. I am thankful for having the gospel in my life. I would be very lost and I love the peace I can feel.
So Wednesday was this massive snow-storm. Dillon left Pleasant Grove around 5:00ish. He didn’t get home until 10:00!!!! Poor Dilly-oh. I felt so bad for him. Some places in Tooele got about 2 feet. I shoveled off 7″ before he got home and Dillon shoveled off another 5″ or 6″ in the morning. Anyways, it was so sweet because he did stop and get me some beautiful roses and yummy chocolate. He said that it made him in a better mood on the LONG drive home and also he thought it was silly to not enjoy your flowers all day on Valentine’s Day, which I think is brilliant:).
Yesterday the boys and I made Valentine’s for their friends. They had a lot of fun. Here is Carson’s heart he made all on his own, and next is some of Devon’s fishies and butterflies he was drawing.
My boys love Ace from Planet Heroes–Devon only does because Carson does. Carson has a friend who has these and he just got hooked. So he talks and talks about getting Ace, even was praying about it, and I really didn’t want to hear about it for the next 6 months of my life, so we just got them these for Valentine’s Day. It has occupied Carson for the last 24 hours. I told him last night that he needed to put Ace to bed cause he was tired and Carson said, “Mom, he can’t sleep. His eyes are made out of plastic!”
We went over to Jerry and Sheila’s house for Jerry’s birthday celebration. It was a great time, as always! I have great in-laws. The boys also had a blast with the turkey decoy that Dillon got his dad. Devon chased everyone around saying, “Bawk!” like a chicken. Carson came in from the living room where it was dark and must have had an encounter with the turkey, cause he ran in and said, “I just saw the turkey and it SCARED me!”–the whole time laughing real hard.
That night Dillon and I watched fun with Dick and Jane. So funny, although I can’t really say I recommend it without clearplay because of the swearing. It was a great Valentine’s! Tonight I’m excited to make our Valentine meal for the kids–pics to come later:)–but be warned, I’m sure they won’t look very appetizing!

I like your list. And the flowers are beautiful too. Only Jim Carrey could pull off being so stupid on the big screen and look “cool” doing it, couldn’t he?

Great list! It’s always nice to stop and think of everything you love and are greatful for. That would be awful to be stuck in the car so long, I heard some people had to just stop and sleep in their cars. Ugghh.

I love the list, too. And the rest of your post is great. I love to hear all of the fun stuff going on in your lives and it sounds like your day was just wonderful!
