So, I would have taken pictures of our date, but we were kind of rushing to get to the massage. So, here’s the story.
I dropped the kids off at Melanie’s, and she asked if I made sure to grab some underwear. I hadn’t, and didn’t have any idea what a massage was like, and Mel and Ryan agreed we probably didn’t want to go commando, so I decided I’d just stop and get some on my way to Salt Lake (since we back-track past our house anyways). So I get to the house, all in a hurry, and park, realizing I had left my house key with Melanie so couldn’t get any underwear for us.
I call Dillon, realizing that I really really don’t want to be all the way naked for the massage. He’s with his (unmarried) friend Reese, and I didn’t realize it and so said real loud in the phone, “I need you to buy me some underwear–just make sure it’s not granny-panties!” He laughs and starts teasing me and it’s then I realize he is not alone. So Dillon and Reese race to Smith’s Marketplace to buy me some underwear. He picks out a cute pair of pink ones. He puts them on the conveyor belt and the checker is a lady. He says, “I’m not even going to try and explain this to you!” Cause two men buying a small pair of pink undies looks a little…wrong. Reese says something like, “They aren’t my size anyways.” The lady has been unsmiling the whole time. So Dillon just says, “My wife is getting a massage and they’re for her!” So we were both late to the massage, all because of some underwear. The end!
That is a great story about the underwear!!! That is why I like the self-check out at Wal-Mart…so I can buy embarrassing stuff without being so embarrassed!
Ha ha ha ha ha!!! Oh my gosh, that’s a priceless story! What a good husband for doing that for you!
That is hilarious! Very nice of Dillon to do that. What a very nice date. I think I need to surprise Seth with something like that.
Oh my goodness..that’s so funny! You have a good husband. And your Valentine’s day dinner looks delicous and fun!
Hee, hee! That is so funny and would definitely be something that would happen to me! Sounds like you had a great time anyway! And the dinner looked so cute! You are so very creative!
