I’m a nerd, but at least I admit it…

February 21, 2008 By Christie

I love American Idol. Not all parts, I think Simon is mean too often, but necessary to the show (however, he does keep me laughing and I do agree most of the time), Paula is pointless, and Randy is annoying with all his extra words. Anyways, the reason I’m blogging about it is because I just think it is so dang cool that two LDS people made it to the top 24:). Brooke White (24) and David Archileto (17). Both so super sweet and HAPPY people, which drives Simon crazy. Brooke mentioned in her first audition how her and her hubby had never scene an R-rated movie, and they don’t drink and smoke and all that (they wanted her to tell them something unique, and that was!). Simon said he’d bring her over to the dark side and her response was, “I dare you.” and tonight on the show she just told him it was never going to happen when he was bugged by her being so “nice” all the time:).

I’m never really been an American Idol person, but I have watched several episodes this season (curse you Writer’s Strike!!), and I confess I’m actually watching it right now. :)

I agree, loving American Idol does not make you a nerd! If it does then I am the biggest one of them all! Ha! I love it, I can’t miss it. If I know we aren’t going to be home I will record it on the DVR so then I can watch it without commercials!!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
