I must say that you are a most unwanted visitor. You come at a horrible hour and always stay longer than you are welcome. What are you thinking? People are trying to sleep here. Sometimes your stay is long–it’s not been unheard of for you to stick around for 5 hours. 5 hours of calm, peaceful time with our new little one that you rob from us. You become the worst at 6 weeks I’ve heard. It’s never too early to leave. Honest.
Truly,
Sleep-Deprived (truly so)

I in no way want to sound like I’m complaining, as I would take anything to have my children and I feel so blessed. I was just bored last night–I mean this morning–and so wrote this. I guess 3 times a charm–she has it just like my boys did–she won’t take a pacifier, and the ONLY thing that stops her crying is nursing…
for 5 hours…
Ouch.

all i can do is commiserate. I’m so sorry. we got a nice reprieve with Seth. He wouldn’t take a pacifier, but he was a calm baby w/out it. anyway, yeah, so sorry. hope you (and me!) get some sleep tonight.
Christian and Jennifer says
Yikes. 5 hours of nursing. Ouch is an understatement, poor girl.
Erin says
Oh honey, I’m so sorry. This can be your mantra: “It WILL get better. It WILL get better.” I hope you can get some sleep!
The Allen Family says
I’m so sorry. For some reason, maybe from your other posts and the huge grinning picture of her, I had in my mind that she never cried. :)
Christie says
Yep, she definitely cries–but it’s easier this time cause at least she does nurse and calm down, rather than scream for hours like Devon would since he was bottle-fed! She’s still super sweet though:).
AngiDe- Nana's Box says
Oh you poor thing! I feel for ya!
Alisa says
Oh I am so sorry! That is the worst! Too bad they dont make a BABY sleep aid for babies with Colic.. I guess that is why all babies have mom’s GOOD LUCK!
