I couldn’t go much longer without decorating, and although I totally overdid it physically and didn’t even get our tree up, the kids were excited. Maybe today or tomorrow we can do the tree.
My nostalgic Christmas decor. The Santa was my Grandparents that they gave away, as was the nutcracker. The pretty bells were from my mom, and the little bell is something I made when I was just barely 6.
The boys love this nativity from my mom.
I have 4 nativity sets–where to put them all???

It is so fun to decorate for Christmas. I am so glad that you managed to get some up even though you weren’t feeling well. And we have that same bear nativity set! Whoo-hoo!

Yup, my kids love that set too. I remember the first year we got it from Mom, Ashley spent hours arranging them and “taking pictures” of them.

I don’t even have one nativity set! How cute…I love your fun decorations.

Not sure if you remember me, but we lived next to Erin, and upstairs from you.. I say if you feel like you need to go private, I had a friend go private, and she mentioned that she set up a blog that will update everyone so they will go check her private one.

I love decorating for Christmas, too! That stinks that you were all so sick. Your sidebar with the quotes by your boys makes me laugh my guts out. Seriously, they are hilarious! I love the one about how “I am a child of God” says “butt” in it and Devon said, “You can make it, mom.” That made me laugh out loud. You’ve got great kids!
