Hurst Christmas Party

December 17, 2008 By Christie

We had a blast at the Christmas party this year. Jerry and Sheila always put a lot of effort into it and it was so much fun, as always. This year there was an English theme, so we had all sorts of yummy English food (see previous post to see what Dillon made) and sang songs and just enjoyed one another’s company. I’ve been so blessed to marry into the Hurst fam! They are great people.
Surprise visit from Santa. Carson would hardly look at the guy, he was so nervous. But he was extremely excited afterwards and kept saying for days afterwards, “I didn’t even know he was coming! I’m so glad he came!” Of course, he asked for Aero (geotrax).

Devon wasn’t quite as nervous. He asked for the “Toughest Team”–again, geotrax.

Bailey was fast asleep, however, that didn’t stop her from totally shaking her head back and forth as soon as I handed her to him, like she was saying no–totally funny.

Christmas Crackers!Dillon learned John Lennon’s “So This is Christmas” and had the boys sing the chorus with him. Really cute, and they have one of the prizes from the Christmas Crackers on their heads.

My kids don’t even know what Geotrax are. Are they cool?

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
