He randomly says sweet things. Today I was talking to him over the phone about something completely unrelated to anything about me, and he gets all serious and says, “Can I just tell you something? I love you just the way you are. Everything about you. Your issues and everything. Thank you for being the way you are.” (The issues part is funny just because I always say I have issues about this or that:). Yesterday, Devon out of the blue said, “I love daddy.” I said, “Me too, he’s a good guy, isn’t he.” And I thought to myself, he really is a good guy.
