*I was helping Carson with his Primary talk he had to give on Sunday. I was starting the sentence and letting him finish it. Here is how he finished the next sentence.
Me: Jesus died for us…
Carson: Because He loves us!
He smiles as big as he can and says, “I’m so smart mom.”
Then Devon asked, “But where is Jesus mom?” I told him He was with Heavenly Father now. Devon says, “So…in the North Pole?”
*Carson got a present from his Primary teacher yesterday. He asked her when he could open it and she said Christmas. I think he was pretty persistent in wanting to open it now, so later she said he could open it today if he wanted. I had him wait until after church in Grantsville since we went there after our church for their Sacrament meeting–Dillon sang there, and did great! Anyways, he started opening it on the way home and I hear him exclaim, “This is so exciting! I can’t wait!…….Mom! It’s a Book of Mormon! This is so cool! I think this it he best present EVER!” Super duper excitement.
Then today, he kept talking about it. He couldn’t find his underwear this morning that I had already gotten him out of the never-ending laundry basket of un-folded clothes. He said, “Mom! I have my scriptures and Book of Mormon so I can find my underwear!” He kept talking about praying for things, like praying for Devon to not be scared. He was so excited to read it after breakfast. We read scriptures out of the children’s one with pictures every night, but this was cooler to him because it was his very own. I told him to pick a place to start reading, and it happened to be the part about Helaman and the stripling warriors. What a great story to tell my little boys again. They were totally interested, although I did simplify the verses and talk with enthusiasm to get them excited about the scriptures. They loved it.
I’m so glad that my boys love the gospel and are having their testimonies grow. It really is the neatest thing and fills me with happiness!

Something totally off the subject. My girls were looking at the pictures you have at the top of your blog and Eden said “There’s Carson, Devon and Belly!”
