-Bailey sang me my birthday song and said, “You look like a flower, and I LOOOOOVE you!” -Bailey is being such a big helper around the house. She kept asking for more chores to help me with. She said, “Do you have any more work for me to do? Because I just loooove helping!” -Bailey: Mom, I love you just a teeny but more than Rosco. Me: Why only a teeny bit? Bailey: Because Rosco slobbers on me and you don’t. -Carson was up late reading The Nutcracker and called me into his room. He said, “Mom, this book is so good, it like seems shivers up my spine sometimes.” -We went Christmas shopping with the kids for their gifts to each other. Devon was so sweet and saw some crayon rings he really wanted. I reminded him that he wouldn’t get to spend as much on Carson if he bought them, but left it up to him. He put them back happily and said he wanted to get something better for Carson. I thought that was really sweet. -Bailey put on some ballet shoes and said, “Look! Ballallet shoes!” -I asked Bailey if she thought Santa would be at the Christmas party. She excitedly said, “Maybe Jesus will be there! Then I’ll get to see what he looks like!” I asked her what she would say to him and she said she’d tell him she loved him. -There was a clone trooper in a book Bailey wanted me to read to her. She saw him and said, “He looks like I want to cuddle with him.” -Bailey is on this literal meaning kick, and it’s pretty funny. We were talking about fast offerings and she said, “Yah, cause they didn’t want to be slow.” Then Dillon was telling her the name of the crayon she had, which was hot pink. She said, “Well taste it and see if it’s hot?” and giggled.
