I love the way Bailey shakes the keys so seriously, passing it from hand to hand, shaking it as hard as she can, only to pass it again to the other hand and do it again and again. I love the way she’s started to play peek-a-boo when I’m doing my hair in the bathroom and she’s sitting just behind the door frame enough to do it, how she’ll giggle when she knows I can’t see her. I love how she kicks her little chubby legs so hard when she’s excited about something, and how her grins overcome her entire body. I love how she has started to look sideways at everything to get a better look at it. I love how mesmerized she is with our dog Rosco. She stares and stares, mouth wide open, then starts to kick and smile as he runs away from her. I love how in the morning, she’s so hungry, but so eager to play, that she just has to stop eating to smile at her brothers, but as soon as they get closer, she hurries and eats again. I love how today in the mirror, she was waving at me. I’m not sure she knew it was waving, but she kept copying me and was so pleased with herself. I love that she looks just like Dillon, even his expressions sometimes. I love when she’s done playing, she’s started to hold her arms out to me to pick her up. I love how she scoots herself around in circles during her tummy time.

*The sweater she’s wearing is one that my sisters and I wore when we were babies! Cool huh!
