the incredible kids have a blog

May 8, 2009 By Christie

My good friend Erin has an awesome blog, and I got this idea from her. She has a seperate blog for her kids to write things on, and it’s really cute. The more I’ve thought about it, the more I’ve realized what a great idea this is for a few reasons. First, I think it will really help them with their speech and writing. They can express feelings, remember things that happened in better detail, and best of all, get to see how darn cute they are as they get older.

Another thing that I like is that if I am blogging, I can let them be involved as well and let them do a post if they feel like it. I’m actually really excited! I am going to make their blog private though, since they might give more personal details then I’d want the public world to know. I keep going back and forth in my head about the private, public thing…it’s so hard for me to decide on my family one! So, really, it’s mostly for them, but if anyone is interested at all, you can let me know and I’ll send an invite.

And, how awesome to have theincrediblekids.blogspot.com available? They were super excited to help choose a name and background. We’ll add music next, and maybe I’ll let them take a few pictures to show off on their blog (thanks to an idea by my friend Sabra).

I love having a blog my kids write! It is so much fun.

I would love an invite, of course! I can’t wait to see what they have come up with.

just don’t be lame-o like me and completley forget not only the password, but also the username to your kids’ blog, thereby rendering it inaccesable.

I want to see it! That is very awesome of you to take on something else, I bet if my boys ever see it they will for sure want one for themselves. Maybe I’ll have to keep it away from them, at least for a while. :)

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
