Happy Birthday Love!

June 13, 2009 By Christie

Today is my hubby’s 31st birthday. He is the BEST husband and dad I could have ever imagined! One of my favorite things about him is that there is never a dull moment with him around. I am always laughing or smiling when I am with him. He totally brings out the best in me, and I cannot express enough how thankful I am for that.
He is so patient with my shortcomings! He rarely finds fault with anything I say or do, or if he does, he lovingly offers me some help. He really opens my mind to other points of views as well, which means our conversations are always interesting, if they aren’t funny:). No matter how horrible things I think or say sometimes, he is never shocked or surprised and never seems disappointed. He talks with me through my trials and helps me every step, holding my hand…no matter what. I know that no matter what happens, he will always be by my side supporting me.
Our date was last night. On the way there, I had to take a picture of the beautiful full rainbow I saw by our house! Then we went to Dillon’s favorite place to eat…Ruby River Steak House. It really is so good. Just look at the picture…like I said, never a dull moment:).

Dillon had to go to Scout Camp today, on his b-day. So despite the big rush to get things ready to go, he still took time to blow out his candles on breakfast, because the boys were super duper excited to have a little party. So they made him cards and yelled surprise when Dillon came inside from loading his truck. Carson helped me feed Bailey while I made breakfast, and Devon put his card in the present. He didn’t get much today, because I had surprised him with The Eagles tickets for an early birthday present. He loves them and was really excited to go and had a good time. So, I cheated and let the boys give him the shirt he’d been eyeing at Target–it’s a The Who shirt. There will be a birthday cake on Sunday though. The boys won’t let me forget that!

I love you Dillon! Thank you for marrying me and for sticking with me with all that I have to work on! You are the best and I can’t imagine life without you babe!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
