Great Sunday!

August 31, 2009 By Christie

(The clip above made me think a lot about how children can do such amazing things, especially if they are guided by the right people in their lives. I can’t seem to put my feelings into words about it, but it completely made me want to be a better mother, but not even just made me want, it was like a huge desire to be better.)We just had an awesome church service. I love our Bishop. He is such a great guy. He is so in tune with the Spirit. I have so many examples of how I’ve seen him really help others because he is in tune. Our Bishop taught the lesson combined with Priesthood and RS, and was talking to us about the great tool the internet can be in spreading the gospel and being uplifted. Every single clip he showed brought me to tears–I told my friend Sabra sitting next to me that I felt like I had pregnancy hormones today! And Sacrament meeting was no different with the young couple who spoke about some mistakes they made, but how they have used the Atonement in their lives. They also did such a great job. I love experiences like this!

I thought the speakers in sacrament meeting were awesome too! Sorry to have missed out on the Bishop's lesson…

It *was* a great Sunday for the Spirit! Though I was getting Jonas to nap during SS, so missed that. But that clip you have at the begining, and that the bishop showed, totally makes me tear up.

That video was awesome. Thanks for sharing. I really miss not being in R.S. sometimes. I was just thinking about how blessed we are to have such a humble and spiritual bishop as our leader. He's a good one!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
