Memorable Moments August 2009

August 31, 2009 By Christie

Devon was looking at Jerry and Sheila’s bulls. One in particular that was looking back at him. Dev was staring, the bull was staring. Then Dev said, “What are you lookin’ at?”

Carson’s kindergarten teacher is Ms. Harms. I told him this about lunch-time. That night, Dillon asked him if he knew who his teacher was. He said, “Yah, it’s Ms. …Ms….I think it’s Ms. Damage.”

I asked Devon to go do something. He said, “Okay, my lady.” all in a proper voice. Pretty cute kid. :)

We had some of Dillon’s family over. Bailey was being quite fussy the whole time. Brad was sitting on the floor by her toys, and she suddenly started to book it towards the toys. On her way, Brad said something to her. She looked at him, and turned her direction right into the couch, purposely digging her head into the side as far as she could, but all while still pretending to crawl forward. It was totally funny.

Dillon and the boys were wrestling. Bailey crawled in, smiled real big, and crawled as fast as she could towards them into a head butt for Dillon! She did this two times! And laughed the whole time. Wow, she’s gonna be a tough one:).

The other day I was telling the boys how much I love them. I’d say, “I love you more than this pizza” or “I love you more than our home”. Carson, later that night, gave me a huge hug, and pretty much put me to shame when he said, “Mom, I love you more than…EVERYTHING.”
Dev closed his eyes and said, “Mom, I can’t see…because I’m blonde.” (instead of blind, hee hee).

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
