July Round-Up

August 13, 2009 By Christie

Throwing the ball to Rosco in the lake. Bailey thought it was hilarious. She couldn’t stop giggling.

24th of July celebration at Marrya’s house with a bunch of good friends.
Riding bikes–Carson learned to ride without training wheels! Go Carson!
T County Fair. Dillon’s band Forty Days played. The kids loved the one ride we let them go on. Dang those rides are pricey!
We found a praying mantis in our garden. Devon named him Kung Fu Mantis. He’s gonna kill the squash bugs. The kids prayed for him to be able to save our plants this year. We really could’ve used a mantis last year! Pretty cute though, they have perfect faith that our plants will survive. I’ll come in and say, “I saw a TON of squash bugs hatching” to which one of them will reply, “Yah, but we said a prayer. So Kung Fu Mantis will save our plants.” Duh, mom.
Bailey’s first whale spout. So cute.

Quick and cheap little makeover.

What a busy month! But a fun one. I can’t believe it’s the middle of August already!

What a fun post! Your kids are so cute. And I hear you about the price of rides at fairs! We didn't even let our boys go on one. We were too disgusted.

cute about the Kung Fu Mantis. I know they're "good" bugs. But they creep me out completely.

Praying Mantis are so freaky looking, but so fun to watch! Cute kiddos!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
