Carson had his “Meet and Greet” yesterday. His teacher is Ms. Harms from Minnesota. If you haven’t read it on the side yet, he said something so funny. Dillon asked him who his teacher was. Carson said, “I’m not sure. I think it’s Sister, I don’t know. Oh, it’s Ms. … Ms. … I think it’s Ms. Damage.” So great!
So we met his teacher yesterday, then today was his first official day going alone. He said he was excited, but nervous too. Devon kept telling him, “You are going to be great!” So Cars found his name, sat down, I snapped a shot, then left and held back the tears until I got outside at least.
He didn’t really say much, besides the neighbor boy getting hurt and how he helped him, but then he was just kidding, he didn’t help him. He talked about recess, snacks, and craft times. You know, the good stuff. It’s like pullin’ teeth getting that boy to tell me about things I’m not there for! I have to give him a back scratch the whole time or he disappears or sighs heavily and says, “I don’t remember, Mom.”

Ms. Damage!!! That's cute! It reminders me of when we moved to Wyoming while I was in 3rd grade. Mom still remembers that story! He's going to have a blast in Kindergarten.

Yay Carson! And K was totally the same way with telling me stuff last year. This year he's more forthcoming with information.
