Dinosaur Party

September 12, 2009 By Christie

I decided that I really like planning parties. It’s fun to me, and I hope that my kids feel special, because that is the whole purpose! Thank goodness for the internet in helping with ideas for games and everything.
The Invites (Carson wanted to trace the dino on the invites):

The Decorations:

(I found the cute dinosaur online HERE.–it didn’t occur to me until after I had printed everything out that maybe the image is copyrighted. I don’t think it is–I sure hope not! I’ll give credit where it is due though.)

Dinosaur Bingo (thanks Aunt Sandy for this suggestion), which were printed off HERE :

Dinosaur Egg Relay Race:

Dinosaur Dig:
Dinosaur Egg Pinata:So yah, I made this with a balloon and paper mache. It didn’t even come close to being dry, even with me blow-drying if for about 10 minutes. Craziness. So, the STRING broke first, then I tied it up again, and the paper clip holding it to the string came out through the paper. Ugh, so…we played pinata baseball.

Then we just whacked the thing on the ground to open it, after the baseball thing wasn’t working so well.Cupcakes and Presents: Carson giving his friend Daniel a big hug and saying, “Aww, you’re the best.” Thanks for coming everyone! We had a fun time!

two days, nearly three, later and Kael is STILL talking about it. Thanks again for inviting them and for having Carson–he's a great kid.

Hope little Devon is doing better. Our prayers have been with you.

I'm planning a dinosaur party for Beck's birthday in November and I'm going to steal some of your ideas! Looks like it turned out way cute!

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
