Memorable Moments October 2009

October 31, 2009 By Christie

*Sheila went to visit Carson in his class at school. He was playing with a friend on the floor and he looked up, saw her, and said, “Hi Grandma. This is my friend and classmate (so and so).” What a cute kid.

*Carson and Devon saw a few leaves and immediately yelled, “Leaf pile!” They asked for a rake, raked up the few they could, and jumped in. I watched them for most of the time because it was so cute. They were laughing so much and saying, “We have to work together!” While they walked in the house, they were joking and laughing with each other. What good buds. My heart overflowed with love towards them and their friendship!

*Bailey yells for us, mom and dad, all the time. She says, “Mom” the whole way, and “Dah” for dad, but mostly “Mah” for dad. She says our names all day. She also has started to whisper, which is stinkin’ cute. She dances anytime you sing. She’s getting 4 teeth on top. The other night across the table she waved “hi” to me and then put her hand up to her ear like a phone and said, “Hi mom!”

*Last night during FHE Bailey stood up on her own and so we made a big deal about it all. She immediately started saying her little high five phrase that she always says, and went around the room until she had given us all high fives. Totally cute.

*Carson and Devon are always telling me that Bailey is the cutest baby in the whole world. I love that they adore her. I adore her too, and them:).

*Devon was setting the table for dinner. I asked him to please give Daddy a knife as well, because he likes to eat with a knife. He said, “Me too.” I looked over and saw that he ONLY gave them each a knife, no forks. I love that he wanted to be like Dillon, even if it meant figuring out how to eat with just a knife!

*Dev was sitting in bed tonight, supposed to be sleeping, but he’s good at not getting out of bed. He saw Dillon in the hall and said, “So, what rooms have we not painted in our house?” Dillon told him we’ve painted most of them now. Dev asked, “Have we painted your room? We haven’t painted the hall.” Dillon said, “You’re right, we haven’t painted either of those.” Dev said, “Cause I was thinkin’…we could paint them both red!”

*Bailey’s One Year Stats: height 30.2″, 85%; weight 21.7 lbs. 75%, Head circumference 17.5″, 30%

*Carson wrote a note to his teacher in church. It said, “I love you teacher. Because I love your teachings.”

*Dev made up an awesome song. “Oh be obedient. Oh be obedient.” Over and over. If you think about it, it’s pretty cool, since Oh Be can be the first letters of Obedient anyways!

*Carson was saying his prayer tonight, and in it he said, “We’re thankful for Jesus, our Savior, for being the Best!”

*Carson wanted Devon to do something and said, “Pretty please, with caramel, cherries, and tomatoes on top?”

Memorable Moments June 2015

~Ruby says "Thank You" when you give her anything. Except it's more like "Day Oooo." I love it. She's also trying harder to say please (or Peeeeze) for things she wants. What a polite little girl :).

~Yesterday Bailey came down with the Clone Trooper costume on, which is 4 sizes too big I'm pretty sure, and her bull horns on. It was awesome. And sums up this girl pretty darn well.

~Carson told us that he was the laughing stock of Primary on Sunday. He meant to say the Class Clown :).

~Devon's so funny these days. If you catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gets an innocent little smile and then starts rolling his eyes everywhere except looking at you. :)
